Happiness may come,
and happiness may go—
but one thing for a fact is:
no matter when it may come
(or where it may go),
it is something
everyone knows.
Although you may lose it at times,
as it could just as well fly away—
do try not to mind,
as it will find
its way back one day.
And I know this for a fact,
since my happiness is
still intact!
The bumps along the road go up—
and then come back down.
And sometimes, they may just
turn the road right around.
But not before the Sun’s smile
turns your lonely frown...
right upside down!
Happiness is contagious,
it truly is so!
We may come across it
wherever we go.
But not before the terribles
find themselves a cozy home—
while hoping to make
a lasting stay.
A fight between the happy things
and the terribles
can surely be quite unbearable
to anyone or anything...
