Written Poetry

There is a way outside this box,

And I’m wondering if you’ll find it, too,

because I am lonely,

I miss you.

I will help you climb out,

Just grab my hand and let’s go.

Let’s fly away, let’s fly.

Let’s get away from that ego.

Treasure the moment,

For that moment is a memory,

And I have many of them,

Of you and me.

Memories portraying beauty,

Of the world we see,

Dipped in ink, written poetry,

Now, come fly with me.

There is a way outside this box,

and I’m wondering if you’ll find it too,

because I am lonely—

I miss you.

I will help you climb out.

Just grab my hand and let’s go.

Let’s fly away. Let’s fly.

Let’s get away from that ego.

Treasure the moment,

for that moment is a memory.

And I have many of them—

of you and me.

Memories portraying beauty

of the world we see,

dipped in ink, written poetry.

Now, come fly with me.
