Finding A Smile

You can sit here and, simply,

fade into existence.

And others may not notice—

at least not for a while.

But then they’ll come looking for you,

and you’ll find them,

and with that, you’ll find a smile,

and they’ll find smiles, too.

All your friends, and all of mine—

we'll all find smiles together.

And that will help us find ourselves,

to where we can find each other.

And maybe then,

we can smile forever.
