As Long As We're Together

I had once lost my way,

no idea where to go.

I needed to find some space,

so that I would know

what kind of life I’m to live,

and what kind of world this is.

I wasn’t quite sure at first,

and I’d thought the very worst,

but when I thought the best,

then came all the rest.

I am now happy, once again—

a happiness I never want to end.

And I know that it will never,

as long as we are here together.

And I am sure that you’ll see,

we were, in fact, meant to be.
