Smile

Smile when you’re happy,

and smile when you’re sad.

Smile when you’re angry,

or even when you’re mad.

Smile during the daytime,

and smile all night long.

Smile when you’re right,

and smile when you’re wrong.

Smile to all of your friends,

and smile at your enemies.

Smile at them to no end,

and make sure they all see.

Smile wherever you go,

even when you’re young,

and especially when you’re old.

Life is too short not to,

and you’ll find that out one day.

And if you don’t, I’ll smile for you,

because I’ll be smiling anyway.
