There you were,
And here I was.
Back and forth—
a timeless love.
For all of forever,
but sometimes lost
within the snowy fields
of the man Jack Frost.
Frozen and cold,
having nowhere to go.
No home, no bed,
no place to call my own.
But then you appear—
a glimmer of hope returning.
As your light grows nearer,
no more pain, no more fear.
Burning away the frozen snow
Warming my heart’s fading glow
Bringing my soul back to life
On this very beautiful night.
