A Terror's Tale

It is here that I begin my unfortunate tale

A terrible nightmare; a strange, eerie terror

Arises from within the bottomless vale

Creeping amongst the living—somewhat,

Utterly in despair; yet elsewhere to be found

As said spirits lurk beneath a single crevice

The open portal to another world—my personal hell.

For I allow myself to fall towards the deadly shadows,

And into the depths of the well I journey, to no end

The endless hall of the never-ending fall that will kill me—

Under the shattered mirror that has shown my reflection

My broken image held upon a damaged surface,

Remembering what memories lie beyond the cracked face

But no recollection has been discovered. Thus, I forever—

And always—amidst the fiery ash; the seemingly deadly flash,

Shall bring myself, my dying soul, to justice.

Once and for all.
